Assemble your new Pulse and place in tank

  1. Unbox your Pulse and lay out all components.

The magnet mount attaches to the outside of your tank and magnetically couples to your Pulse Heart. The power supply connects to your Pulse Brain.

The Pulse Brain sits outside of your tank and connects via a 10' cable to your Pulse Heart. Your Pulse Heart sits in your tank, sump, or refugium.

The PulseDisk Hub seats inside your PulseDisk which then seats in the PulseDisk cover.

Do not unbox your open the PulseDisk pouch yet.

2. Place Pulse in your tank, sump, or refugium.

The Pulse Magnet mount is rated up to 3/4" or 2 cm glass thickness.

Choose a tank location with moderate to high flow. Place the Pulse Heart in the tank and magnetically couple it to the Magnet Mount.

Exercise caution when handling the Magnet Mount and Pulse Heart—both contain strong magnets.

3. Connect Heart and Brain

Connect your newly installed Heart (inside of your tank) to your Brain (outside of your tank).

Your Heart has a 10' cable. Place your Brain in the most suitable place: under your stand, with other electronic equipment, or above your tank.

Your Brain is not waterproof—ensure the Brain is not exposed to excess water or submersion.

Connect your Brain to the included DC power supply.
